This was a journey. I finished tracking Same Rooms in the days leading up to lockdown in March of 2020. Dave D'Amico and I made it in his old bedroom in Bushwick. Then it sat for about 3 years. I finished it with Dave Klyman in my office in Philadelphia, making a few alterations and adding some additional vocals. I didn't want to put out only one song, so we made Standing In as well. Then Miles George designed the album cover for me in Rochester. My life is very different to when this first recording started and I am very grateful to the friends who helped make this whole project possible and to those who inspired the songs.
